Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 23 September 2026

Scope of the policy and the products or services it covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses and related digital services offered through insightrypo. These include professional training programmes focused on video operation, live signal management, content distribution, camera work and the creation of reliable high-quality feeds for news and broadcasting. The policy covers both one-time course purchases and any subscription-based access to learning materials. It does not apply to third-party products or services linked from our site.

Prices, currencies, taxes, and any additional charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Prices include value added tax at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. No additional charges apply for standard digital delivery. If a course includes optional physical materials or live workshops, any extra costs will be clearly shown before checkout. Currency conversion fees may be applied by your card issuer if you pay from outside the UK.

Accepted payment methods, payment authorisation, and payment security

We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal and bank transfers. Payment is authorised at the time of order. All transactions are processed through secure payment gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. insightrypo does not store full card details. Authorisation may be declined if fraud checks are triggered.

Order, booking, or service confirmation and when a contract is formed

A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email after successful payment. This email contains your access details or enrolment instructions. Until that point no binding agreement exists. You should check the confirmation for accuracy and contact us immediately if any details are incorrect.

Cancellation rights and applicable cancellation periods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have 14 days from the date of the confirmation email to cancel without giving a reason. Digital content that has been downloaded or streamed may be excluded from this right once you have begun access. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time but refunds are subject to the rules below.

Refund eligibility, exclusions, and non-refundable items or services

Refunds are available if you cancel within the 14-day period and have not started the course. Once you have accessed more than 20 percent of the content or downloaded materials, the course is considered used and non-refundable. Promotional or heavily discounted courses may also be marked non-refundable at purchase.

The step-by-step procedure and information required to request a refund

To request a refund email [email protected] with your order number, full name, and reason for the request. You must also provide the date of purchase and any confirmation reference. Requests without these details cannot be processed. We aim to acknowledge receipt within two working days.

Inspection, approval, rejection, and notification of the refund decision

Our team will review your request against the eligibility criteria. You will receive a written decision by email within ten working days. If approved, the refund will be authorised. If rejected, we will explain the reason and offer any available alternatives such as course transfer.

Refund method, processing time, and when funds should reach the customer

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Credit or debit card refunds typically appear within five to ten working days. PayPal refunds are usually instant once processed. Bank transfers may take up to fourteen days depending on your bank. We will notify you when the refund has been issued.

Special rules for digital content, subscriptions, services, or promotional offers where relevant

Digital courses are supplied immediately upon payment. By starting access you agree that your cancellation rights are affected. Subscription cancellations stop future billing but do not automatically refund past payments. Promotional offers are final and not eligible for partial refunds.

Failed payments, duplicate charges, chargebacks, and suspected fraud

If a payment fails you will be notified and given the opportunity to retry. Duplicate charges will be refunded automatically once identified. Chargebacks are investigated and may result in restricted access until resolved. Suspected fraudulent activity will be reported to the relevant authorities and may lead to immediate account suspension.

Mandatory consumer rights in the target country that the policy cannot exclude

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations or UK GDPR. You retain the right to seek redress through the courts or alternative dispute resolution if you are dissatisfied with our handling of a complaint.
